My life has always been accompanied by music. I grew up listening to the radio and watching music videos on cable TV. In high school, I listened to alternative rock, gothic rock, new wave, industrial, and underground dance music. In college, I started listening to jambands and seeing live music on a regular basis. I have attended hundreds of live concerts by a diverse range of bands and musicians in venues of all sizes from bars and theaters to arenas and stadiums.
I have seen a number of bands and musicians live repeated times across the country including: Twiddle, Phil Lesh, Phish, String Cheese Incident, moe., Sound Tribe Sector 9, and the Grateful Dead.
My favorite bands and musicians through the years are: James, Foo Fighters, Keane, Beulah, The Go-Betweens, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Crowded House, Depeche Mode, Yazoo, New Order, Joy Division, Durutti Column, King Crimson, and Frank Zappa.
I live in Berkeley with my wife, Jeannette. I have been in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000. I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.
